Founded by Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda P\u00e9rez Rodr\u00edguez who, with his small grocery shop, soon realised that merchant ships needed large amounts of food and drink provisions during their long trips between ports. Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda&#8217;s secret was, at all times, to supply top quality products with an efficient service.
